Every autumn, bears make their way to places of food and plenty. They spend the last few months of warmth before the descent of winter building fat for the dark, cold months of hibernation to come. During this time bears can often be seen high up in the mountains, often eating berries. There is no other time during the year where bears look so striking. Their coats are full and richly colored, their forms sleek and full. They truly look like the royalty of the animal kingdom.
